Story in the Kitchen time!

April 17, 2018

2 things to share before the clock strikes midnight!

Firstly, Taurus is nearly here and thus its "Story in the kitchen" time again.

To celebrate Taurus "in arrivo"...... come nibble, drink and chatter with us at Story Kitchen this thursday over our apericena plate and a cosy beverage!

Be it wine, beer or gingertea,

We'll welcome you most heartily

Come sip and hang and simply be

With Nicky and Laura and Fabbi!!!

...Don't worry! I won't be reading my own poetry! I do recognise I have some distance to travel! Story will be read in Italian and english some time after 9pm. Its not too long.... in fact its deliciously brief and becries the woes and difficulties that some Taurus suffer from having TOO MUCH money!

What to do! What to do! Too much money! Can you imagine!?

Come listen to the story and you will find out what to do if you have TOO MUCH MONEY ..... oh and you'll subsequently find out what to do if you have too little money!

Some examples of our apericena plates below from previous weeks. Vegetarian plate for 10 euro with a glass of prosecco or beer. ( Meat version 15 euro). Reminder! All our ingredients are made by us, 90% locally sourced and organic and we favour wholegrain and sugar free options as much as possible.

Above was asian veges and riso venere, hummus and rapa bianco ( is it turnip in english? not sure). Also savory strudel with farro flour and a little rocket to give you your greens and a little heat in your palate!

Below the only difference was also brown rice, homemade linseed crackers and some plates have the Asian meat. Oh and raw sweet potato known here as Batate!

My second thing to share which is completely unrelated but just putting it out there!

Might you....

or might you know anyone

.......keen to move to New Zealand to teach in a childcare center?

Do they speak English and have a teaching qualification?

This week a group of New Zealanders are in town for the famous Reggio Children conferences and two childcare center managers are looking to recruit preschool teachers to New Zealand to work in their schools.

Why teachers from Reggio?

Well they are looking for Italian teachers specifically because they have had great experience with other Italian teachers and the centers follow very closely the Reggio Approach. Environment is recognised to be a fundamental teacher and  exploration and discovery is actively encouraged and valued in children.

If you want to know more drop in to Storykitchen during our opening hours and I'll give you more info.

Oh my goodness! is that the time?

Hot water bottle time!

Good night!

Nicky
