This week a couple of people and places to celebrate. Firstly dont’ miss the pumpkin festival this sunday at Spazio Gerra that my breadmaking friends Gianfranco and Anna Gasparini are helping to organise.
Its a celebration of all things pumpkiny and being in the pumpkin zone in the pumpkin time for the pumpkin season and with Halloween just around the corner, pumpkin on over and pay respect to the greatness of pumpkins!

And something else delicious Story Kitchen has been up to. Gorgeous Laura Mariani and gorgeous Luana Ferraro have opened an atelier of fashion, local designs by local gals !! Its called Ella and you will find it inside the most exquisite courtyard along the Via Emilia at number 27. ( tourist NB It looks like you can’t go in but you can ….Go Go Go and visit ….These girls speak perfect Inglese!!)
Story Kitchen had the priviledge of being asked along to their inauguration last weekend to share our edible gardens and Philipp’s yumy rye bread!
It was a blast! Our little garden was edible from the stones to the soil and some cool kids helped with the Italian signs! The homemade gingerbeer was a hit and the iced rooibus and lemon tea also!
Noone drinks champagne anymore! It went out with knickerbockers in the 1980’s!!!

- Topinabour con cavolfiore with parmeggiano vegano
- Melanzane affumicato con pere nuove
- Chianina da Vezzano sul Crostolo con castagne e sedano rapa
- Dolce: Chia e pompelmo gelato con qualcosa di cioccolato! ( ancora in strada di invenzione!!!)
Ricordavi che nostra acqua e caffe’ sono incluso!
Tutto per 39 euro oppure tre piatti vegetariano 29 euro.

Lunch this week we will have our main dish with lentils and cauliflower and our soup is the super healthy super yummy batate ( sweet potato) . And wednesday and thursday we are doing our stuzzichini ( nibble) menu for 8 or 19 euro to balance that glorious local wine or Story Kitchen cocktail you are sipping upon!
